I created the concept of the Sticky Note Game initially as an onboarding technique to improve the expectation setting for success in the first few months of an employee’s new career. It quickly evolved into to a regular career development process that the team plays and revisits every 6 months.

Having Sticky Note Games for the whole company lets me put everyone’s goals side-by-side, so I can see common patterns and know how to prioritize staffing, training and development.

Now, dozens of organizations have rolled out the Sticky Note Game process to intentionally grow their people and improve their careers.
